Roof Trusses

This is what the house looked like before we started working on Saturday September 26, 2009.

We scheduled a crane to come and help us lift trusses on the house, The crane driver was suppose to show up between 1:00 -2:00. He showed up at 12:40.

This is the First Truss we put up on the house, It is a pretty cool process.

This is our house about half way threw around 3:30.

We are all finished, it took awhile but we got it all up. We had a very opinionated crane driver. He was telling us how to do things, it was not fun.

September 19, 2009

We finished putting up all the walls in the Upstairs and put on all the top plates. Our Roof Trusses or coming on Monday September 21, 2009. We are putting the trusses up on September 26, 2009 with a big crane. Here are some pic of what it is starting to look like.

October 17, 2009

We have all the walls up on the Exterior.

Interior Walls

We framed half of the Interior walls today, we meet with are truss guy on Friday. We will be ordering them on Monday. It takes a week or so to build them.

September 26, 2009 we will be putting trusses on the house. Yea, we will be getting a roof.

September 7, 2009 (Labor Day)

We framed and almost sheathed the whole garage which we were hoping to do. We almost met our goal.

We have all the Exterior walls up for the house that are needed for the trusses. We will be framing the garage on Monday September 7, 2009. We are hoping to have it all framed and sheathing by the end of Labor Day, we will see where we get with our goal.
